In a world driven increasingly by information and its processed insights, we continue to explore application domains where Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) may be leveraged to accrue sustained benefit for mankind. Innovative solutions aimed at achieving the triple bottom line of environmental, social, and economic gain are essential. This is especially relevant in the agricultural sector. ICTs that include GIS, remote sensing, precision farming etc. hold great promise for future sustenance. These technologies have enabled diverse innovations in the agriculture sector: including the collation and analysis of commodity price information, meteorological data, advisory and financial services to farmers for agricultural extension, agricultural statistical data gathering, etc. Technology and innovation are vital to drive sustainable agricultural production as well as enhance the productivity of the Indian farmer.

The ability to receive appropriate and timely medical care when needed is a part of sustainability–that imbibes enduring viability of the ethics and objectives of the healthcare fraternity - to ensure the healthcare needs of future generations. Effective use of ICTs in medicine makes it possible to coordinate and optimize sustainability practices that improve patient healthcare outcomes, while simultaneously reducing expenses through resource and process efficiency.

ICAIM is held with the primary objective of providing an international platform for interaction on state-of-the art developments in ICT application domains. ICAIM 2020 is the fifth of the series of annual international conference that are held TIMSCDR, Mumbai. The theme for ICAIM 2020 is “Leveraging Information Technology for Sustainability in Agriculture & Medicine”. We invite all experts to discuss ICT applications on the theme of ICAIM 2020 under the various sub-themes listed below
